Project 2: Floating Islands

The "Floating Island" series of works contains my reflection on world cognition. The

floating island is a symbol of my ideal, imagination and the distance that I have not

set my feet in. It is a fairy island in Chinese mythology, a combination of my

imagination and link to the island as well as my personal ideal. It floats because it is

inaccessible, it exists because it is desirable and it is higher than real life with the

land that gives it the power to float.
