​Project 3 ：Volcano

The Volcano series I am trying to make is the embodiment of my hometown and my inner desire. After going through the previous thinking, I finally have more courage to face the repressed part of my heart - desire. Due to the indoctrination of being selfless and not ambitious, I used to think it was wrong and shameful to have desires. As I grew up, I finally had the strength to look straight at it -- the desire to love and be loved, the desire for power and achievement. Dormant volcanoes raised me and made me it. Under Changbai Mountain sleeping is not only hot magma but also my desire and power. It's been repressed but always there. It's my source of strength.
